Enhancing the Volunteer Experience
| The
‘Community Futures' Program has given RDCOTA an
opportunity to identify areas of improvement for the
well-being of existing and potential volunteers.
Knowledge gained via this
program has assisted in the development of internal
procedures to enhance the volunteering experience and
provide the organisation with improved opportunities
for funding.
Personally, it has been
incredibly beneficial having a mentor to work through
some of the more difficult issues that occur from time
to time.

Moving Forward

"I would like to say
how much I appreciate Volunteering Queensland for their
endless help with all questions pertaining to volunteering
especially with the Volunteer Policies & Procedures...
in helping to discuss/listen to volunteering issues and
how to manage these issues diplomatically and without incident.
More importantly, VQ has been there to help Volunteer Co-ordinators/Managers
to improve their volunteering programs." |
